Alliance for the Arts
Alliance for the Arts is a visual and performing arts center established in the 1970s, The performing arts include art, dance, music, and theatre. There are exhibitions and events happening year-round.
The greenspace is appealing with Alliance Artspark, an inspiring venue that features lovely Floridian landscaping and the featured art entitled Caloosahatchee Water Wall. A weekly GreenMarket is also available for visitors to purchase fresh produce and other items.
Art and Dance classes on the following topics are available for kids, teens, and adults. There are acrylics, batique, Bob Ross style painting, classical painting, collage and mixed media, and more. There is also oil painting, photography, off the wall street art, watercolor. Classes are also offered for Artists with Autism.
The gift shop offers art prints, blown glass, books, handmade jewelry, stationery, sculpture, and arty swag. It features and supports the works of 75+ artisans! Visitors who become members will enjoy a 10% discount from items in the Gift Shop.
