Charlotte Harbor Environmental Center - comprised of the Alligator Creek Center and the Cedar Point Environmental Park - is a must for anyone wanting to view and learn about Florida's natural environments. Thanks to the work and dedication of sponsors and visitors, the Alligator Creek and Cedar Point Centers offer over 20 different educational programs, 8 miles of hiking trails, and manage 8 different environmentally sensitive lands.
The Alligator Creek Center has so much to offer nature lovers. They offer environmental educational programs, lectures, guided hikes, wading trips, and even partner with other community businesses to offer kayak tours. Alligator Creek has 46,000 acres and offers something for everyone!
The Cedar Point Environmental Park is 115 acres and borders Ainger Creek, Oyster Creek, and Lemon Bay. Cedar Point offers guided walks, special event lecture programs, and a native plant butterfly garden. If you are feeling adventurous you can join them for seagrass wading adventures in Lemon Bay, kayak excursions, and even fishing clinics.
