Immokalee Pioneer Museum at Roberts Ranch

Immokalee Pioneer Museum at Roberts Ranch
Immokalee is the largest inland community of Collier County. It is synonymous with a thriving agricultural economy and a wide range of cattle ran by the Calusa Indians, and later the Seminoles.

First settled in 1872, the town was named Immokalee because of its Seminole meaning "my home." It's a 13 acre historic site and is the longest running ranch in all of Southwest Florida. Guests have the opportunity to learn about the working life of these pioneers.

There are many exhibits and educational programs that serve to tell this incredible story. With 15 original buildings that have been preserved, the place is immaculate. On the edge of the Big Cyprus Swamp, you will learn how the hunters and ranchers were able to inhabit this vast area and create a beautiful community.

The Museum at Roberts Ranch is a scenic 44-mile drive from Naples, located in downtown Immokalee. Be sure to check their schedule of events for an informative, enjoyable day with your family.
