North Jetty Park in Nokomis, Florida, offers visitors and residents the opportunity to enjoy an entire day without leaving the park. As you walk the trails that lay parallel to the Intercoastal Waterway, watch as boats make their way out to the Gulf of Mexico. Benches are scattered along the trails for resting and birdwatching.

Once back from your journey, enjoy lunch or dinner from one of two concessions offered at the Park. Specifically, consider the historic trolly car that's been converted into a food and beverage stand. As a bonus, beer and wine options are available!

While consuming your food, take a seat under the many shaded picnic shelters and benches throughout North Jetty. Enjoy the surrounding that Florida's popular park has to offer.

After enjoying the food and drinks, take a stroll to the beach and dive into the Gulf's beautifully clear waters, where lifeguards are on duty year-round. Showers are available for beachgoers who have finished their day in the sand.

Fishing is available at this popular park, and do not stress about bringing your bait! There is a bait shop that offers a plethora of options! North Jetty offers a launch site for kayaking and canoeing. Paddleboards are also available for rent.

For children or those visitors that prefer to stay inland, volleyball courts and playgrounds are open and located in the middle of the park, with perfect opportunities for viewing the Gulf of Mexico and the Intercostal canal.
